Good on ya fjrb25, this is what being a car enthusiast is all about, having a go at all the jobs! It's all good and well having all the big name stuff -ie 6boost, but what do you get out of just bolting it on?

a good manifold yes, but how many can say "yeah I made that From scratch"!

not all of us are building 8sec cars, some of us are in it for the satisfaction of build our own cars.

Hi Nick

Ain't that the truth

My car when completed will weigh between 1100 to 1200 kg and it's going to be a daily driver, not a drift or time attack car.

Not looking to squeeze every last ounce of performance out of her but I still want to enjoy myself also.

Can't knock a fella who wants to have a go hey.

Once completed I'm going to get a steal plate cut out that says (home built) and weld in place on the first runner

For me it's the satisfaction of making it myself as you say and once I obtain the correct skills I will be able to use them in the rest of the car.

For you and I it's not just a case of buying a manifold as there isn't one that suits our build, always wanted to build a steam pipe manifold for my turbo diesel also so may give that a go sometime too.

Cheers
