Stock Boost Controller Install

Hey guys,

Installing my stock boost controller this arvo and just needed to know where the hoses go.

From my research all the photos show the stock controller have a T piece that goes on one of the hoses, however I am missing that bit.

So the controller has two outlets on the top of it. Which goes goes to which part.

A diagram or simple description would be much appreciated.

Boost source (normally off cooler pipe) to a T piece.

From T to actuator.

also from T to solenoid.

From solenoid to BOV return pipe. (but you have cut off the bit of Bov return that has the nipple on it so you can use your metal intake pipe. YES?)

But not sure if this is connected correctly. Currently have a hose running from intercooler pipe to the bottom nipple on the controller. Then hose running from actuator to top nipple on controller.

Correct? Or do I need to source one of these T pieces for it to work correctly

Incorrect.

You need the T piece and Nipple on the BOV return to be able to bleed off the excess boost pressure.

as you have it now, you will have NO pressure going to the actuator untill 4500rpm and then MAX pressure to the actuator but no bleed at all.

Hmmm I'm going to go purchase some hose then and just run straight from the nipple to the actuator then. Not worth putting the aftermarket thing back in.
