Hi guys

Im J.C., New to SAU and bought a V36 a few months ago (August 2012ish). BRILLIANT CAR!! Seviced at Carmen in Brisvegas, I do the oil/filter etc my self, due to the fact that no one in my town knows what my car is let alone want to service it, so a 6 hr drive (4.75hr return in my time) to tune etc. I live in Gladstone central coast Qld.

Don't plan to modify to much, eventually "clean up" the paint, Apparently Japanese can't park very well.

So any advice would be appreciated as far as minor mods go, a slight improvement on performance will suffice, and of course better exhaust note couldn't hurt.

Cheers

J.C.

P.S. Some advice on posting photo's wouldn't go astray either, please remember that I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, so, keep it simple! I tried to post photo's but couldn't make them small enough.

Hi J.C. and welcome to the forum. You might not get too many replies to your post at the moment as we seem to be getting spammed a lot in the Newbie forum although the rest of the site is relatively OK.

Having lived in Japan for a few years now I have to say that the standard of cars on the road is much higher than in Australia, so either you were unlucky to get a dented one or it was done after leaving Japan.

As far as posting photos goes I don't think the size matters if you have the photos hosted elsewhere. I use photobucket.com which is a free photo hosting site (there are many others that do as good a job, photobucket is just the one I use). Go to the site and create an account. Then "Upload" your photos. Click a photo and on the right side will be an "IMG" link. Double click on that and then paste (Ctrl V) into the post you are writing on here.

welcome.

glad to hear youre enjoying your car.

did you get auto or manual?

would like a manual v36, but dont think its gonna happen for a while.

as loach said, you can use a hosting site for photos.

ive found the easiest way is the sau app.

search sau community in the app store for your phone (if you have android/apple), and use that.

very easy.

best to take photos then use the app.

if you use the app to take the photo, I dont think it saves to the phone.

either way, enjoy the forum.
