Rb25Det Cam Caps

hey all i gotta bare non neo 25 head and was trying to figure out where to get cam caps...any help would be greatly appreciated

They're all the same.

Cam Caps are matched to the head, you will need to get the cam tunnels line bored once you have all the cam caps. The cam caps are all marked (i1, i2, i3, e1, e2, e3 etc) if you get second hand ones, doesnt really matter though if you have to get the tunnel line bored

Just get another head, it will be easier/cheaper than getting caps+machining

No.

The head needs to be relieved for the cam lobe, not the caps.

Correct IF the heads cam tunnel is not warped, yes it can and does happen.

Reliveing the head for big cams is another matter that has nothing to do with the cam caps.

The reliefs are done next to the valve spring buckets.

Yeah just swapped one of my old seats for it... It had the vct shit removed so planned on using it for a rb30det but looks like i will get rid of it seeing as it will cost a bit just to get new caps bored
