Guys, don't know how you do things but in my town, when someone does a good job, they get rewarded... I have owned imports since around 1997, and over that time I have often required the use of mechanics. I have used probably around 7 or 8 different workshops and found happiness with two, one being Rob Rigoli albeit yes he can be expensive but damn he knows how to make the machines fly...and secondly, a guy Duncan recommended to me at Annandale. Now of the 7 or 8 guys, I have found two to be good, the other 5 were basically pitiful and one I seriously wouldn't stop my car if he was crossing the road, however this is a positive story, I went to Nathan at Grey Imports at Annandale on Duncan's advice, I don't know Duncan from a bar of soap and didn't have much time to talk to Nathan, I need a transplant motor for the R33, putting a head on a new bottom end, not only was he one of the cheapest guys around, but nothing was ever a problem. Was always honest and did his best to get it going for me, and not only get it going but do the job well, I honestly feel good having spent my money with him and really recommend his services to anyone else out there. If you are sick of being ripped off, having troubles with wank3r$ who try to charge you way too much just because it's an import or just generally stuff you around, go to Nathan, I'm fussy with my money and can honestly say he;s one of the good guys in this area... p.s. thanks for the contact Duncan.

good to hear he looked after you :D its always good to hear a great workshop story among all the bad stories....

I cam across them trying to get one of Pete's wrecks registered and Nathan was always reliable, professional and at a good price :(

Highly recommended

My other rant's aside, haven't used UAS so can't comment but would definately be able to say that Nathan is the #1 import workshop in Sydney for reliability, knowledge and honesty.

Hmmm do feel somewhat sorry for him, his apprentice left a boost pack in my boot, sent his apprentice all the way from annandale to Penrith to get it, and my car was in the booth :-( dayum.

Well that's not a bad, idea, I should take the boys a box ehh... was like something out of a movie this morning though, had to pick up a car load full for my gf's school fundraiser (and she's a teacher so no jokes about me liking young kiddies!!!) we had something like 140 BOXES in my magna station wagon, the people in the shop stopped eating, looked at them wheeling trolley's out to me, and my lard ass standing there smiling they all cracked up...even fat people have feelings!!!

  • 3 weeks later...

yeah we were around there taking the mud out of the 200b diff and replacing it with oil :)

Nathan did a great job welding it too, should be more fun to drive now :D

No dyno Jimbo, just workshop and 15yo compliance
