For sale is my 93' Skyline. I will upload pics shortly.

183xxx kms

Manual

New HD Clutch, less than 1000kms, rear main seal done at same time

New radiator

Bilstein shocks

Lowered springs, unsure of brand

34 GT wheels w/ Federal 595RS-R tyres 99% thread, less than a month old

Turbo timer and aftermarket boost gauge

All fluids (gearbox, diff, brake, clutch) were changed when I got the car, around 4k kms ago

Front mount intercooler

Exhaust

Overall a pretty tidy car. There is a few scratches around the body, has the factory M spec body kit. The side indicators, next to the headlights, will need to be replaced. They are currently held in with zipties, as the little brackets have broken. All mechanical is great, drives smooth and no leaks. The few issues are with the body.

Looking for $7,500. It has rego until Feb 2014, I think will have to double check. I'm happy to put more rego on if the price is right. Not interested in swaps, looking for a straight cash buy as I have another car lined up to buy.

For anything else, feel free to send a PM.

    • I definitely agree with you there - I never click on content for cars I would never ever be able to get or compete with/against/be seen next to. Seeing a MX5 compete with a FD RX7 will make people upset though, for sure. Even in 2.5L Turbo form which is pretty grass roots. (or at least as grass roots as classic cars can be) Yes we're all classic car owners now.
    • Wonder what the cause is, but here's hoping it's nothing too serious.
    • People don't always want builds that are overly expensive, or have engineering/registration/insurance issues and head aches that come with them Whilst big dollar builds, and complicated stuff is interesting to watch, there is only a tiny % of people who would actually use this information, or have the spare finances to drop on said builds, whereas the buy a cheap(ish) cool car, and make it better, with a average budget, that the average Joe or Jane could achieve will always be a winner in my opinion
    • Bit of a thread revival, you mentioned wanting a bit more top end before, do you regret not going with the 1.01?
    • It's kind of interesting - They definitely do builds that split the difference between what they like and what will generate views and engagement. The NC Platform always surprises everyone in a good way, in an uncomfortably good way some may say. They could throw a LS in there and arguably have the best (and best performing) car of the entire stable. But that isn't necessarily what draws views, because people viewing don't want to accept the vegetables of a LS NC MX5 being a superior vehicle in every way (including fun) than a RB26 240Z. This is also why there's not a lot of content about the GR Yaris (on the web in general). They're too good, yet 'only a Yaris' The community doesn't want certain cars to be as good as they are - to beat their hero cars, and I believe the NC MX5 is absolutely one of those cars.
