comarcus93
Pretty self explanatory. My R34 sedan seems to have a loose interior panel, towards the parcel shelf. I think the recent heat has warped it and popped it loose. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so when this thing rattles, i NEED to stop it. I'm unsure of clip locations mainly. Don't want to go snapping things Thanks! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/437738-how-do-i-remove-this-interior-panel/ Share on other sites
Trex
I do this for a living on new cars. you should get a trim puller kit and a good thin flashlight, pry the piece with the trim puller and use the flashlight to look for the clips. once you've found the clip, use another trim puller under the clip and push down using the leverage of the trim puller. It may be easier to start from the broken clip side, or start from the top where it meets the roof lining. AMR33
In a lot of cars the bottom of that trim kind of tucks in just under/behind the back seat. Fold the seat forward and that will expose the bottom of the trim and slowly unclip with hands and long flat head. As long as you take it easy, you won't snap anything. A trim puller is unnecessary, I've pulled similar trim before with no damage. Just take your time Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/437738-how-do-i-remove-this-interior-panel/#findComment-7173521 Share on other sites
comarcus93
Cheers guys. I was fiddling around with it, and managed to simply pop it back into place by pressing in different spots. Luckily for me, the clips weren't broken. Also spent the day killing rattles and creaks in my car. Could now host an orchestra in there, it's that quiet. Thanks again!
