Oil & E85?

Does anyone know if regular running in oil is ok to use with e85?

And after the running in oil is dropped, what oil can you recommend that's safe to use with e85? I heard some types can cause problems

I've read about 4 pages of it, everything was too contradicting. Some say yes to fully sin, some say no. Some say ester based etc.

I'm tossing up between motul 6100 15w50

And penrite racing15 15w50

If you look on the actual pen rite bottle. It says suitable for e85.

Don't you think that's enough?

SN rated oil is what you want to look for. And drop it regularly.

You may want to put an oil thermostat inline if you are running an external oil cooler, just to keep the oil temp up enough to evaporate any ethanol out of it.

penrite racing 10w40

is what i use on my rb25det running 320kw - seems top be doing well - i seen another guy running the race dlend as wel but 20w60 -

but my tuner said the 10w40 is good
