Is This Normal?

In process of tidying up engine bay on my 32, have plenum removed and decided to check the thermo.

And this is what I found, hose on housing is rusting away, and it seems very rusted on the inside note, the coolant isn't dirty though.

I just like to know weather I should be concerned or if it's a normal thing with age. Car is a r32 gtr
