Hose Drippping Water Connected To Nothing

Hi all,

whilst changing my radiator/coolant today i looked under the car and saw something dripping! I thought it was coolant, but the liquid was clear so I'm assuming water. It's located coming out of the firewall (circled) behind the dump pipe and turbo and points straight down. It's a tube that's not connected to anything :\ Does anyone know what this is, and should it be connected to something??

It is most obviously connected to something, namely the air conditioner drain tray.

so it SHOULD be connected to the air con drain tray? or it is from the inside and just drips out through this tube?

It's a drain. You'd really rather that the outlet end of it was connected to the air (like it currently is).

Yep should be dripping when aircon is on.

Worry if it isnt and your car starts to smell.
