Expressions of interest only at this stage
Rare, head turning VL 1986 very straight.
Stock RB30, engine rebuilt on 2000km ago only ever used 98 octane fuel and recently been serviced. Mechanically A1 hasn't missed a beat.
Auto, beautiful smooth drive.
Tinted windows, alloy radiator, soft gold on top, silver body on bottom
Sound system includes head unit 2-6"x9" in custom rear parcel shelf, 2-6" door splits and 2 tweeters in dash, fully electric aerial.
AC working perfectly, interior very tidy, driven by none smoker, black throughout.
Security system- remote central locking, engine immobiliser.
Needs a respray paints a bit tired, but looks amazing from a distance.
Alloys on car are not included.

Several Calais parts and full rb25det BT1 ex cop rolling shell with r33 manual gearbox on offer but not inclusive in asking price. Prices on request

sorry i thought i posted a price, its not for sale yet but probably looking at $5500

Its rare because its straight, and no not from 1 or 2km lol

and no its not beige, its a soft metallic gold

I am so glad I own a wagon, some of you sedan guys are an embarrassment to the VL scene. There is nothing rare or special about your car other than it is a VL. A HDT VL with certificates is rare, a Walky is rare, an A9Y wagon is rare, a yellow BT1 is rare and a manual-turbo-Berlina-wagon is rare. Your VL is an auto, NA VL that isn't even original (especially after it gets the respray). $5500? The only reason you are posting on SAU is because you know you will be flamed to a cinder on CalaisTurbo asking for that much money. Be realistic and don't call something rare that isn't.

Relax...

I drive a worked skyline... Was posting it up for my brother

It isn't the fact it is a VL. There are a bunch of people on here that have never even owned a Skyline and you only have to look at the For Sale thread to see the diversity of cars that are advertised. The problem is that you are lying in the advertisement (it isn't rare). Also you are stating a ridiculously high price. The last VL for sale on here was ridiculously over priced too. It doesn't matter if you are advertising it for your brother, it is your SAU profile and you are responsible for the posts made with it. Put more thought in to your advertisements before you post them and people will be more supportive.

Look it's not even for sale

It's expressions of interest only

It's not my car, I didn't set the price

Duno why u guys are freaking out

I think it's an awesome car, it's a great cruiser. Cops leave it alone, it's got a new engine, it's not a chop and shut, never been smashed and has been taken car of.

    • @Supernanoyour car has ended up in my hands and I was wondering if there has been any work done to the motor?
    • Sigh... yeah OEM mount rear battery, very R33, very demure, very mindful.
    • Would need a substantial current draw in the car to make a bunch of sparks. Obvs to now test resistance to ground of the car's B+ lead. If there's a short there, you'll see it. Only likely place for that, as you suspect is alternator. But there is also the possibility that rats have had a chew on some insulation. Shitbox has the battery in the boot, yeah? Plenty of cable to attack.
    • Oh, I thought of that too... I disconnected the battery and hooked up the leads direct to the car without the battery in place. Sparks... I suspect the following: Alternator has decided to kill itself Starter has decided to kill itself I'll recharge the battery, then unplug both, and go from there. The above might take 6 months - however I did buy a Victron 15 AMP trickle charger, apparently it's better than CTEK? Amazon, delivery by tonight. https://www.amazon.com.au/Victron-Battery-Charger-15-Amp-waterproof/dp/B07P4LMMMD?ref_=ast_sto_dp
