Kls Power Spirit 100Mm Vs 120Mm Intercooler For Gtr

Hi guys,

I purchased a 100mm thick kls power spirit intercooler to suit a gtr of ebay last night and I've been messaged telling me that he is out of stock and only has the 120mm thick left. I am going to be exeding the efficiency of the stock r33 gtr cooler so I must upgrade. That is no question.

I was wondering if anyone has managed to fit a 120mm thick cooler behind an r33 gtr front bar while maintaining the air con. Don't mind cutting the bumper a bit.

Also with experience. Is a 120mm thick intercooler overkill for a low 400kw set up?

Stock 33gtr cooler can do 500+kw. I have seen it first hand...

500kw..... I knew there are people doing 380- 400kw through them but 500? Wow. Did it act as a restriction at all?

Stock looking stealth setup, stock airbox, intercooler, piping etc. GTX28's machined into -5 rear housings, twin 3 inch exhaust, Xspurt 2000's. The tune was pushed pretty hard to make that 500, but it made 480 fairly easily on e85.

@ Rear wheels on Trent's hub dyno, accepted to be on par with most of the local roller dyno's.
