Car/cruise scene has died off completely from what I've seen and what i was used to (hobart/south area), most of the owners that i cruised with have sold their cars and got sensible ones, or their cars are now track only. Or they did that horrible thing of actually growing up and becoming responsible lol

... cruise scene in '05-'06 used to be great. Mostly, people are just trying way to hard these days- plus the cops don't like gatherings???

Yeah I remember it use to be a big thing now it's all died off. We need to start something up

I started being involved around Mid 07 at the Kmart meets, but due to dickheads security clamped down on that, even though they agreed we weren't the culprits or were causing trouble, our presence attracted the unsavory types which was understandable.

We then proceeded to meet up down the uni area at the wharf but that was short lived so we just picked random spots after that like kingo bigw car park before they closed that off. I then broke my car so stopped doing meets a bit and just faded away from that scene altogether.
