Hi guys, have just converted my r33 gtr to a single turbo and now up to working out the intercooler piping from the turbo to the intercooler. The outlet of the turbo is 2.5 inches and the inlet to the cooler is 3.15. I'm going to try and retain the original piping in the front bar and was wondering if there is any preformance benefits to using a silicone reducer from 2.5 to 3 inch straight out of the turbo or should I leave it at 2.5 and use a reducer a little further down the cooler piping to save some room? I'm guessing it will be beneficial to open it up right aftert he turbo as hot air expands but would that create turbulence?
