[Vic] 2009/2010 Blkmrkt The Mob Fs Frame + Headset $300 Ono

Recommended Posts

I have this poo brown blkmrkt the mob frame set for sale, it seems to be the short version, so 21.5in top tube length.

I'll post a picture if people are interested. I'm located in Melbourne, VIC.

I paid $900 for the frame back in the day, but it's not being ridden anymore as I've gone back into xcountry riding. I like this frame vs the dobermann pinscher i also had.

Specs are here.

Also have a gold hope pro2 ss built to a mavic 317 for sale, the hubs go for 280 new, so, 250 for the wheel.

Will put pictures up if needed.

Updates!

1. I have a blk mrkt The Mob frame for sale, this is the small frame, so 21.5 top tube. I'm selling as i've lost interest in the street/park scene, because I was never really good at it anyway.

Frame is used, has been used, I have dropped the bike, i have fallen off the bike, and there are scratches. Frame is steel, and steel frames tend to rust, but it is only surface rust.

Comes with a transition bikes headset. Frame retails at 900. Am asking 280 ONO.

2. I have a rear wheel, Hope Pro 2 Trials hub built to a mavic ex7xx rim, I have no idea what rim that is, except it is actually pretty light and has held up to my noobish stair drops and stuff.

Wheel is 250 ONO.

Take both for $450! Can e-go/post at buyers expense.

    • is it common on RB25det motors that the exhaust manifold nuts become loose overtime? I was inspecting some stuff and noticed that a couple of nuts were so loose that I could literally turn it by hand. Everything is stock on exhaust side unless when they installed the dump pipe they had to remove the manifold for whatever reason. I'm surprised the boost leak didn't show up on the test lol.
    • Haha watch Alex's eye twitch when you mention Nistune to him in person lol. He's not a fan, then again it's quite a niche product. I personally don't mind them, but most usually steer clear from it. Word of advice, do not ground the AFM to the chassis, there are heaps of incorrect guides on the interwebs. Send both GND on the AFM back to Sensor GND on the harness.
    • Note I edited my post, so Sleeper's quote is not the same as what I meant any more.
    • That's a whole 'nother issue. Nissan ones get dirty and sticky. The coolant heats the wax pellet thingo to close the valve, so it is open when it is cold. And so if there is no coolant it just takes longer to close, because the heat has to soak all the through the inlet manifold.
    • I feel like this is crazy pills though. Isn't it locked up all the time anyway? It shouldn't flare anywhere if it only unlocks momentarily while it shifts gears. And if it flares like that when shifting gears, then the 8HP with a 5500 stall is not driving as well when on the road and/or track use..
