If you do the exhaust I first discribed with 1bar of boost ( 3 psi over stock, which is what you get if you pull the restrictor out ) and a good tune you should be around the 240-250rwkw range, so a gain of close to 100rwkw, if you are going to go that way do cam gears also, I have a few different settings for the cam gears on stock cams depending on what kind of power delivery your after

On 1 bar on a stock motor my 32 make 261rwkw

Doing the dump pipes on any GTR is a turbos off job, big job, and I would recommend at that point you install -9s while its apart with 600-1000cc injectors and make getting it tuned worth while

Have you pulled the restrictor yet ?

Yeah restrictor is off the car.

Haha now your geting too technical for me im only just learning haha... Ill just start off with a turbo back system and go on from there. Im not looking for big hp just a little more oomf! :D ill be happy with 20kw let alone 100! Haha thats sick.

How much gains (kw) did you achieve from your exhaust system?

Yes from full stock, IF, you do full exhaust with tune and cam gears and 1 bar boost

My car had 140rwkw @ 12psi ( stock boost ) when I first brought it and I now have 261rwkw @ 15psi and 293rwkw @ 19psi

Power mods on my car are

CES factory dump pipes and front pipe

MetalCat metallic cat convertor

HKS catback

I have pod filter with Z32 AFMs, but the stock box is fine at these levels

Cam gears

Boost controller

Apexi Power FC

I still have the stock ceramic turbos and untouched manifolds

Yeah 11.13 @ 123mph, I've had my 32 since 2002 and have done a few hundred passes plus a few hundred laps of various circuits, so I have learnt how to get the best out of that car

160rwkw for a stocker is very good, front pipes, cat and cat back plus a good tune should see you over 220, the dump pipes are a big job to change ( took me 10hrs go change turbos ) and best done when the motor is out or while changing turbos, I spun a big end at Wakefield and put the dumps on while changing the motor

I can replace the rear dump on my 32 with the turbo in place pretty easily now :D. Haven't touched the front turbo yet (thank Rajab for that).

You're making impressive numbers though. There's still hope for the ceramics!

I would NEVER push that much through stock ceramic turbos..... they will go pop

19 PSI through stock R32 Ceramics? FK that. I would run 15 PSI max. Recommend 14 psi to keep it "Safe". Even then they still go. I spat mine out my cat runing 8 PSI. Ticking time bomb.

Coming on 12 years now, I wear one set out ( bearings ) and am on the second set that have been in the car since 2008

I figured it was how you drive more then anything so I pick my moments and never hold them there long, ie no burnouts or trackdays on 19psi just drags and dyno runs

    • What can't be done with a little bit of decking board or similar timber bolted to a hub flange via 2 wheel nuts is not worth talking about.
    • I noticed something. On the tps sensor and the sensor behind the adjustment screw is adjusted towards the far left. Are these screws supposed to be centered? (this sensor was in the same position before the tune as well)  Also attached a photo of where my car usually idles at when warm (sometimes a tiny bit above that). I think I might have screwed up the calculation and it might have better than I thought lol at 750rpm still not 650rpm though.
    • So for both general interest of engine health, and to rule out any coolant/oil issues, I organised an oil analysis done on the 125,000klm oil Results below, all good, just a bit of fuel dilution which I'm not too worried about
    • This is actually a really good way of measuring what wheels fit. If only there was a similar measurement between hub face and suspension :p That said, it's probably pretty simple to actually measure it all with the wheel off the car for the rear. The front is a bit more complex but..
    • Being the top Google search result for R34 wheel-related inquiries, lemme throw down my experience. I calculated that 100mm from hub face to wheel face is about the perfect fitment for my ENR34 sedan.  I've been running 18x8.5s, ET35, with a 1" spacer. So, 8.5in to mm = 216mm. 216/2 = 108mm. 108-35 = 73mm. 73+ 25 (1" to mm) = 98mm.  If you wanna get close to this on dif widths, here are the offsets you'll want: 9" - ET around 15mm 9.5" - ET around 20mm 10" - you're crazy, but ET around 30mm All these should fit perfectly on a non-widebody, non-GTR Skyline. Note that it's probably the absolute max, and you're probably better off running a couple degrees of camber in this config, but it looks great, super flush.
