Best Place To Rebuild Twin Plate Clutch

got a nismo twin plate (apparently, havent confirmed) behind a 400kw atw rb2630

started to slip last night so i was looking at options to rebuild

direct clutch have told me they charge $1100

has anyone had experience with them or any other recommendations for rebuilders

will be pushing 450 in the near future also

This is correct, sounds like incorrect fitment or something along those lines as they should hold big power in general...

Matty runs a JB clutch

I run a NPC 10" Carbotic clutch.

Doug does sound like a stoner, but he knows his stuff and the clutch works how it should.. not to mention the pedal is super soft like a stock clutch however clamps 1800kg. Downside is, you look like a tool trying to drive the car normally haha.. Guarantee you anyone that doesn't own a sports car will stall it or fry tyres straight up first time.

Correct, I run a custom exedy 10" inch clutch that NPC modify.

However I'm getting my NPC clutch rebuilt by Western Clutch in St Mary's this Saturday.

Drive in drive out service (cbf pulling off the box this time lol)

Yep mine is the 4700lb 10" pull type version with solid centre... Since swapping to this plate the car has been so good! Nearly like stock to drive and luuuurve the heavy flywheel
