The lesson I learnt today, is always make sure your bonnet is securely latched.

Whilst doing 100km/hr down Roe Hwy and yourbonnet pops up the results are not nice:( I now have a very bent bonnet, a smashed windscreen and a caved in roof.

It's also very difficult to see where your going when you have a bonnet covering your windscreen. I've learnt the hard way, and will be using bonnet pins to hold down my next bonnet. It will be at the smash repair place for many weeks:(

But you have to laugh about these things:D

Will try and post some pics up on Monday for you amusement:D

Cheers

Paul

OMG. You gotta laugh hey, it's the only way you'll be able to cope with the repair bill!

Funnily enough, the exact same thing happened to a mate of mine, his bonnet flew up doing 100+ also, bent the hinges right back, smashed the crap outta the roof too, luckily he didn't need a new roof though!

Paulie, think it's a sign that a CF bonnet should be installed!

Holy Shit Paul can only imagine it would have scaried the f*#k out off you. But good to see that the only medicine is to have a laugh about it coz get shitty will get you no where. As for a CFB well i can tell you they flex around like you wouldn't believe, can scare the hell out of you when you are sitting behind another car. Come to think of it I should invest in some bonnet pins.

Hope the repairs go smooth for you. :(

I appreciate all the thought's guys, but with luck insurance should cover the damage, so it's just one of those things that happens.

Yes, it did scare the crap out of me, and with a bonnet covering the windscreen it doesn't give you much room to see where you are going;) I'd like to go cbf, but the cops don't think that is safe:rolleyes: .

If anyone does find a R33 roof anywhere then please let me know, as that will be the only major holdup to repairs.

Thanks

Paul
