The Wife left the ignition on without the engine running till the battery went flat (grrr) on our m35 Stagea. The only lasting damage seems to be the fuel gauge goes all the way round to the left of the scale now, however the low fuel light still works. Has anyone struck this before?

Thanks for the replies! Fortunately I managed to fix it this afternoon, had a close look at what it was doing. Some how, when the ignition was left on, the gauge turned anticlockwise, past full and all the way to the left. When the battery was charged, and the ignition turned on, the gauge spun against the wrong side of the stop. I managed to thread a fine piece of wire through the gap where the odo reset button is, and spin the gauge back the other way. Anything to avoid taking the dash apart...
