Dr30 Booster Options

ok so I want to find a booster that will sit closer to the firewall.

I have tried r32 z31 s14 and none of the stud spacing fits dr30.

any ideas what booster will fit?

are mr30 s spacing different to dr30s?

I really don't want to have re drill firewall or run a pedal box.

any info be great

if u measure ur spacing for the studs i have a mr30 booster laying around i can messure for u

I don't know if this helps you at all, but I used a Datsun 180B booster on my DR (and a 15/16" master cylinder). The booster is a much smaller diameter than the original.

Where are you looking for clearance?

was the datto booster a straight bolt in job?

if the booster sat flush against the firewall id be able to get away with just that spacer they have making all the issue

stock fj manifold is hitting booster I can shorten it or go full custom but would love to run long runners i

It was a while ago, but I think I mounted the 180B booster (and spacer) to the factory firewall mount. Here is a pic of it as it is today.

yea the booster definitely looks like itl work just only if it sat flush against firewall...

think im just going to go a custom job...

Why do you want to change your booster?

Was trying to keep stock inlet manifold.

Fj is now in bay and well back against firewall.

Its all good doing a full custom plenum

Been meaninh to update my build thread will post up pics soon
