89 model, rego 6 mths, safety cert, 52000 clicks (apparently), stock standard apart from 3 inch cat back zorst, Kenwood sound, gunmetal, import papers, $26k ono.

I have a feeling it could be this one if so would mean he got it on the road for about $22,500. Good thing its ono cos i wont be giving 26k.

In theory a 52k motor shouldn't need a rebuild. How much does it cost to rebuild a RB26DETT anyway?

As much as you want to beleive that the car u are buying has genuine kays,

With 52,000KM for a 15 year old car its almost 100% been wound back or a new cluster.

Thats about 70 km a week

I hardly ever drive my car, and i still usually do 200 a week

Yea don't worry I'm not taking it as a given. Even if I see log books stating such I guess they can be forged. I'll go on the condition of the car.

Bit like the 25t it say 59k but I don't believe that. More like 100k I reakon. Far as I can tell the timing belt is original and the 25t is 6 yrs younger also.

i'm in the process of inspection a 32 GTR as well. Asking the seller to run a series of test (@ my expense) on compression test, leak test, chassis alignment, etc...

i'm not really concern abt the K's as well becos i planning on doing a major service on it - timing belt, water pump etc....

Oh well that one turned out to be a bit rough. He said 52k, the odo said 42k the sticker for timing belt change said 72k? In other words a wind back also judging from interior wear and condition. It was pretty straight though.

When I asked myself would I be happy sacrificing my 33 for this the answer was no. Plain and simple. May be faster and handle better but that was about all it had on the 33.

Only the 1st one though. The search continues...
