Hi Guys,

I own a R32 GTS-t and i am deciding what to do with the car. I am currently seeiming

to have a lot of trouble with it and its starting to piss me off. It seems that something just

has to happen to it. for instance;

in the last couple of months this has what has happened to it;

front wheel bearings have gone

suspenion all way round has gone including bushes need to be done

clutch has gone. (been fixed but now ***ed again)

leaking water into right tail lights

window seals

among all those things that seem to just go wrong im currently battleing a caught case

in regards to the Veilside kit that i had installed for the reason below;

was fittted with text screws in the side (front bar and side skirts)

wrong colour paint

cracked the kit in more that one spot (like every corner etc)

melted the front bar with heat lamps and the indicator.

front bar pushed on to far.

and there is more to that. It also looks like the whole front bar was heated to long and has

melted the whole thing in general as i have to big shrink marks under the lights.

among this im just getting pissed with the car in general and cant enjoy my ride anymore.

My quetion to you guys is that what do you honestly think i should do

sell the car and cut my loses maybe buy a R32 GTR or R33GTS

or maybe just get something completly different and leave the whole skyline thing.

Here are some pics of the car

http://people.ozzienet.net/~oz/Pics/1/linelude.JPG

unfortanelty the pics dont do justice to as much damage that the spraypainter has really done.

anyway hope u guys can help me decide what to do with the car

sorry about the long post :D

cheers

I guess you could have picked a better crew to fit your bodykit, however the other things are just general wear and tear, sealing rubbers and suspension bits get old and tired after 10 to 12 years. It's a fact of life when you drive a 10 + yr old car

If you have spent money on it getting it to how you want it, stick with it or at least set yourself a budget not to exceed with it.

The downside to listing all the problems above is everyone on this forum who is a potential buyer is going to either be put off or be able to knock the price down based on the above problems.

WTF?!?!

They screwed the bodykit on with screws on the outside?!?!

What complete and utter morons! I suggest you post up those photos and the name of the panel beater in the WA section so everyone knows the quality work they do!!! :uhh: :uhh: :uhh:

I'd be piiiiiiiiiiiiiissed!

the general wear and tear stuff is gonna happen to any car. but I can see how you would be annoyed. I worked hard on my GTST (white 32). the whole works, everything short of the turbo and ECU were changed. but I decided that this car wasn't for me and now I'm impatiently waiting for my GTR.

but it looks nice, maybe fix it and keep it. they are hard to sell at the moment
