Looks better than the ebay stuff but don't see a thermostat. Don't let those braided lines and AN fittings fool you, make enquiries to see if name brand fittings. Snapping a fitting won't be good. I had all my lines changed to good quality. You won't need a thermostat in Australia. Well, unless you go skiing.

It looks just like all the other egay oil relocation kits, other than the color.

You will most certainly need an oil cooler thermostat, unless race car.

Yes indeed you need a thermostat.

I had issues with HEL when I bought one of their oil cooler kits. I went specifically with it because it was a good quality setrab cooler and had a thermostat. They sent a kit over from the UK and when I got it the cooler had a large dint/gouge in it and the sandwich plate was just a normal one with no thermostat.

I emailed them about it and sent a photo of the cooler and they said "is it leaking", to which I replied "does it matter? it doesnt look brand new to me", reluctantly they agreed to replace the cooler

And when I asked about the oil cooler they said "We sent a normal one because of hotter temperatures in Australia the thermostat is not needed" which is complete crap. The thermostat is there to warm the oil up to operating temp quicker, not to keep the oil cooler then it would be without one.

HEL make a good product but their service (at least from the UK division) is hopeless.

that kit still requires you to mod/trim the hoses and make some brackets, etc. to fit...

why not just DIY a kit yourself? a GREX plate & Torques UK or Earls or Speedflow fittings will be 100x better than that kit.

if you're super ceebs, just buy a full bolt on jap kit and don't worry about a thing
