Lol I only sent that to MickO a few minutes before you posted it, hive mind?

If the EFR is too big, there is always this recent release: It's only a little T3 turbo - how bad could it be?

Test pilots required for the new Garrett range...with money and patience?

The pro S is getting old mate i think its time you were a guinea pig ;)

I tried the GTX3071R maybe its time you ordered a GTW3071?

.... internally gated GTX29 series.... see why I mentioned Disco..... ;)

Not sure wtf the GTX2871R is about, assuming they will do a GTX2971R.

Damn. Sounds like the GTX29 may have been a good fit for me.

Will be interested to see results when they come out.

Anymore info on any of the new Garrett GTW range Lith? Cant seem to find a actual list any where on it. When are they going to be available to the general public I wonder?

Try searching for GTW3684R or GTW3884R ;) I'm not sure on all the specifics of what is coming out, but they should start emergying pretty soon, as far as I know... it's certainly not going to be like the EFRs!

So tired ATM , too tired to search propeller head stuff but yeah I noticed the 9 bladed compressors and thought hmm HTAish .

Now that Garrett are into machined wheels they can carve all sorts of things up easily enough but it would be good to see a few more modern turbines in their mix .

Other players in the aftermarket have put up things that are easily better than some Garrett products and maybe market pressure has got them off their butts .

Have to love the WWW for showing up the good the bad and the ugly .

A quick update cause I couldn't be stuffed looking for the E70 tuning thread .

I went back from my United E85 (Green)/7Eleven 98ULP 50 50 blend (E42) to Caltex E70 cause I got fed up hand blending all the time .

Laziness just reset the main fuel trim because my timing maps work pretty well overall . The headlines is I managed to get 530 Km from a tank of E70 filled to the neck and run till it started to lean out . This isn't too far short of the best I did on splash blend E42 .

I'm planning to get the ID850GM injectors happening in about three weeks depending on when my tuners shop comes back on line .

I'm very keen to see how much of a difference modern injectors make to drivability and consumption . No one I know has ever got brilliant consumption out of a 33 era RB25DET but 'd like to see what's possible . Realistically GTT head rods and pistons is probably way to go .

52T still doing a good job , cheers A .

    • I've replaced the front brakes of my NA to 324 brembos and 350z calipers: i'm going for 225/40-18 up front and 245/35-18 in the back. I have Rays 7.5*19 ET35(225/35) in the front with 5mm spacers otherwise the calipers "lock up/ won't rotate". When i use the calculator i come up with 8*18 ET30 for 225/40...... but not sure i get problems with the calipers. Anyone riding around with 18 inch. that can confirm "that it'll fit"? In the back it's 7.5*9 ET30 (245/30) with the 5mm spacers, but there is no problem with the standard small brakes, so i want to take 8.5*18 ET25 (245/35).
    • Lol.. but then.. always come back to a JDM..
    • Glad to hear. If possible, get your tuner to check air's to make sure everything is still where it should be.
    • The problem with FB/Insta/Reddit etc comments relating to cars is simple. You get to ask a question once, and get one round of replies. For things that can actually be answered in a few lines of text, once, it's fine. After 6 hours, your original question is lost to the void. There are no follow ups, additional questions, anything. No project car is ever such a simple list of questions to ask. You need discussion.
    • Welcome.  Here's what I have noticed about forum vs FB..... FB; seems to be wallet racing, and the same few questions asked over and over. There *may* be some groups that are closer knit, but most have changed for the worse. SAU; unfortunately, no longer in its glory days. But....genuine people with similar interests. Not all about how much you spent and saying you dont have enough power. Sooooooo much knowledge available. Have personally seen people post up about literally topics I made myself, asking on FB like no one has done it before. Most has been done, and most of that is here.   If you ever feel like just general chatting theres the wasteland.  Other interests are also generally covered in other areas of the forum. Hope you enjoy hanging around. We would love to have you.   P.s. nice 32 😀
