Correct Fuel Pressure ?

42/43psi base pressure? sounds familiar

Not had a FP gauge on before and that's about what it is reading at idle

Don't forget to disconnect and plug the vacuum line if you're testing with the engine idling.

43 psi with vacuum line plugged and engine idling.

Same static pressure for IGN on and with engine stopped.

Engine idling with vacuum line connected will naturally drop fuel pressure so too many variables.

But the book says around 36psi.

Thanx Jiffo. Actually have the FP Gauge connected to the FPReg in the engine bay.

Got tired of second guessing or taking it to a shop so they could test the fuel pressure for drop/low.

when mine is on ignition it is around 40psi, when engine is running it drops to around 32 on idle.

If i want to bump it up a little it shouldnt effect my tune should it (aftermarket injectors)

It will affect your tune very slightly. It has to.

Why do you want to bump it up? What pressure was it tuned at?

I haven't touched it since it was tuned, just thought it was a little lower than it should be. But I'll just leave it alone then.
