I Dont Know Where To Instal Map And Intake Air Temp Sensor

Hi,

I am transitioning from OEM ecu to a used hks fcon vpro gold. I didnt install it from two years now suddenly i said i will go ahead with this. I ordered an hks map sensor and iat sensor with harness from RHDJapan. I been told by a friend that i can finally cancel the annoying Afm now, since i will be doing everything someone please educate me on the first time adoption of map sensor and iat sensor. Where it will be located and installed i will never forget this.

Map..is it a hose type?...if so just put a tee in your fuel reg vacumn line..run this to your map sensor...If its a sensor type you want to tap it into your intake manifold somewhere, either way it just needs to read pressure in your intake plenum

Intake air temp...if you have stock plenum there is a good flat spot between the bov and the throttle body...drill and tap into that and install sesnor..

This way your MAP reads the same as your fuel reg and you IAT is read just before your throttle body..
