im playing it on xbone.... trying to decide how much i like it, very fast paced, games are too short though. Theyve decided to release an aus server today but its a bit broken, it is good if you're playing with others, like all multiplayer games, well I seem to enjoy them more when others are on

The campaign is rubbish. But you need to complete both sides to access the Stryder and Ogre.

Gameplay is well paced, the movement system discourages camping quite a bit. And people use weapons that aren't sniper rifles, amazing!

Maps are really well engineered, titan/pilot balance is spot on, game modes are solid, if a little unoriginal.

Hell of a lot of 'holy shit, did you see that?!?!' moments.

I'd like some extra customisation options, as it is all you can do is change the pilot gender, and I'd like to be able to change the loadout names, but they're relatively minor complaints.

played it more last night and gave ctf a go, i found it a lot more fun and intense, waaaay better than attrition

yeah map sizes are pretty much bang on for titan vs pilots.

i cant really see the other weapons of use, carbine seems to be the pick atm...

Hardpoint, CTF, and Last Titan Standing are my favourites. Attrition is meh. Pilot Hunter is pretty intense, but not a favourite.

EVA-8 is my preferred starter gun, GA24 and Hemlok once they come available are quite effective. Spitfire is bulk useless as far as I'm concerned.

XO16 is much the same. 40mm cannon, railgun, and the Triple threat are my picks for Titan weaponry.

Throw in cluster bombs and multi lock missiles and you're onto a winner.

watched a friend play it last night. just another twitch shooter with better mobility. I think id get bored pretty quick. There doesnt seem to be much strategy or drastically different maps because you have to accomodate for the mechs.

What I did like though was the end of battle attempt to escape (if loss) and get extra points

Doing the Generation 5 challenges at the moment. Gooser is a f**king pain in my ass.

Up to level 43 and I haven't yet scored a kill.

I never bought it, but from what I have heard there is not many people playing anymore. I've heard plenty of stories of people waiting 15 minutes just to get into a match.

I played it heaps when it first came out. More players on Xbox then PC. Have stopped playing it now. Overplayed it with a mate one night and now we're both sick of it

well its a good game, similar to world of tanks, allot of elite players who take you down like a toddler, but after some game time and working out good mech configurations and tacticks it gets fun.
