Kierin
Hey, I've read through many pages and it seems that 18x10+15, 265x35x18 should fit in the front and rear with manual rear subframe. I've tried fitting this size wheel to my C34 and it fits nicely in the rear but sticks out approx. 25mm in the front. What is needed to fit these wheels properly without running crazy camber and chewing out tyres, I'd like to have the same offset and width front and rear without pumping the guards. There would be approx. 25mm clearance on the inner side of the wheel. Any help would be appreciated as I'd like to order some new wheels soon Regards, Kierin Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/440577-trouble-fitting-18x10-wheels-in-the-front-s1-c34/ Share on other sites
KiwiRS4T
Get a panel beater to extend the guards. Offset should be different front and rear as the track is different. Kierin
Cheers mate, Trying to avoid any panel work apart from lipping the inside of the guards. I'm hoping to find someone else who has fitted 10" wheels in the front of a Series 1 to see how they got it to work? The feedback I'm getting from Series 2 is that there is little modification needed, fits near perfect straight up. Is there any difference between S1 & S2 suspension components that would contribute to this problem or are S2 guards wider? RA28GT2
I don't think it will fit without some stretch and some camber. Here's mine that's an 18x10 +23 but with 225/40/18 and there would be a few degrees of camber there. Kierin
Thanks champ, that's very helpful. Do your tyres wear out fairly quickly? I'm leaning towards +35 up front to get the wheels in the guards. KiwiRS4T
You shouldn't use camber to get your wheels inside the gaurds. I ran 3 deg for the track which was great but it chewed out my road tyres in no time and I couldn't be bothered changing back and forth so I have settled for 1 1/2 deg neg camber which seems tolerable on the road.
