Has Anyone Used A 3M Disc To Stick Their Navigator On Your Car Dash?

What do you think? does it hold or eventually useless?

i'm planning on getting them 3M disc on ebay so i can stick my navman on top of the dash instead of the windscreen.

I used the disc that came with my garmin on the dash. Lasted years, and was hard to pull off when I put the car up for sale

3M pad holds my Re*Play car cam.

It's the strongest I've encountered.

Did you clean the dash in any special way?

I had endless issues with my Apexi EL2 controller falling off the dash when the weather got warm.

Ended up using hot glue. That lasted 12 months.

But as to OP, have had one in a work car and it worked pretty good. But i found it stuck to the windscreen better.

Nah, just made sure that the dash was cleaned and dried with water - no silicone residue & no detergent.

* Whether it'll stay adhered in the hot sun (in the long term) remains to be seen.
