Lumpy Noise From Exhaust

I have a 1991 gtr and there's like a lumpy noise coming from the muffler sounds as if there's a train running over some tracks in my exhaust, anyone had this happen to their gtr before?

Just a guess, but maybe the muffler packing got blown out?

Does the car run fine apart from the noise?

Does it get louder and/or faster with revs?

It has a test piece so no cat

It can Mainly hear it at idol, car doesn't run fine, I'm thinking the turbos are bad. Could this be a sign that the exhaust wheel is about to go?

You will need to drop the exhaust and see what the problem is. Perhaps the idol will fall out when you shake it, or perhaps it will be the turbine wheel...

That's what I was thinking, I'm pulling the turbos off within the next few days, it's pretty damn cold here so I'm just putting in an hour after work.
