Help - Series 1 Knocking In Dash

Hello all,

just as I expected before hitting the road in 2 weeks my car has thrown up an issue which I have no idea what it is.

have just left for work and have a strange knocking noise coming from the glovebox area. Have opened up the glove box and can see something that is moving and clicking with the sound of a motor running too.

I have no idea what it is but would like to get it sorted asap

any help would be much loved im just about to upload a video too

Check the connections at the back of the climate control unit. I left it slightly unplugged once and a similar noise was the result.

Got back in the car after work and knocking still there. Turned Climate control unit on and it was stuck on 18 degrees. Pulled out. Removed both plugs. Back in and knocking stopped.

Been reading about the actuator on 33 skylines all evening and getting a mild stress on for some hard work. I can go back to planning my drive to Byron bay now. Couldn't handle that knock for 4000km
