+1 for BOV not helping the situation.

I have an auto R33 atm and since putting a Blitz atmo on back off it almost stalls. But I live with it for the hektik doses it does :yucky: ..

I'd be pressure testing the system for leaks as they will also create stall issues along with the bov set-up..

mine use to stall a fair bit too..i run a greedy type rs bov and i've tightened it up a fair bit...before that i had some taiwanese bov and i could watch the piston stay open too long which would cause the car to nearly stall..then pickup again. having the spring pressure set correctly and the right size piping feeding your bov seems to be the right combination...also put zip ties or hose clamps over your airline to you bov.

tips for catching idle...

1. wait until it gets tired then bash with brick

2. drink beer and wait until it comes back on its own

3. trip idle with a stick

4. number 2 its easier and less tiresome

5. i believe a "profit" fits in my list somewhere

or just drink beer and let future you sort that shit out

Damn you and your maturity superben....

I have been accused of a lot of things, maturity isn't one of them.

I'm a little shocked, but I know you guys will support me through it.

Anyway, back on topic, fix op's car or f**k off.

Ha ha alright cheers lads.

I've put everything back to stock to try and figure this out. Hooked up a boost gauge, works fine at reading boost while driving.

However.. It reads 0psi when idling? Every other car I've owned and know of reads negative pressure. Tried 3 gauges and all do the same.

It's an auto s1 stagea, is this normal?

Was rhinking of hooking the gauge up to the vacuum on the fuel pressure reg to see if the system is okay.

thanks a trillion
