What brand - Help

I wanna change my standard Boschmann 4 x 6 speakers as they've had it. After finding out their weird size i was puzzled to what to do, but after a bit of research i'm puzzled which ones to get as most of the audio companies have them. Amongst others i came accross: JBL, Pioneer, Kicker, Sony, Lanzar, Phoenix Gold, Alpine, Kenwood, Infinity Kappa & Reference, Rockford Fosgate, JVC. They range from $20 to $150 a pair. So which one’s would you recommend and what should I look out for? Power Handling (RMS), Power Handling, Peak, Sensitivity, Frequency Response?

I don’t know much about audio so any help is much appreciated. Thanx.

get whichever one sounds BEST to u .

and u just stated brands there, not model numbers...cant really just compare brands

its like asking.... what should i get, a HKS or an Apexi turbo ?

oh, and if ur not gonna amp it anyway, then dont really look for RMS handling etc.

i would recommend the JL ones or the kicker ones if u want some nice sounds out of em..

I have a pair of Kickers you can have for $100.00

I used to run them off a 2x35 watt RMS Kicker amp.

I just bought and installed 4x6 JBL's for $120. 150W Peak and 50W RMS. They sound great. Also bought 3 way 6.5" JBL's for the parcel tray for $170.
