R34 Missing

sometimes when i am just cruising in any gear just at 60 or 80 so around 2000-2500rpm the car seems to start missing or surging but when i put my foot down it goes away and runs fine?

I would assume it's not really any gear when it happens as you wouldn't be able to do 80 at 2500rpm in first, but never mind.

ok at any speed scrap the 60 or 80 then, i dont think it matters the speed anyhow, but around that rev range is when it happens.

With the amount of information you have given I can 100% say that it is low compression in cylinder #5

Coil packs aren't the problem. They never f**k up at cruise and are fine at wot.

Its either standard or its not. If not what are the mods? Does it have a turbo? When did you last change the plugs or the fuel filter?

5 out of 12 of your exhaust manifold studs are broken causing a massive exhaust leak which in turn is giving the O2 sensor a false reading.

May sound stoopid but it's exactly what my R31 Wagon was doing.
