Mine are both blown and as such RWC is a no go ...

Are the hardrace from JustJap a worthy replacement?

Or should I go with the Whiteline adjustables? I was quoted $140 for these.

Need to get something done asap, need the car back on the road.

Will be looking at doing the bushes myself (with the assistance of someone with a press) to save on some money, being a poor student and all :D

I read through other topics - and most people say Whitelines. Am aware of that, but was more interested on the opinion of those who installed themselves. As most indicate a level of difficulty getting the rods back together.

Some threads do say however, that the hardrace would be their choice.

Adjustable urethane > hard rubber. Unless you have a press, you won't get the old bushes out, nor the new bushes in. Otherwise every other aspect of the job is child's play.

Both of these things you would have read in the other threads. I know this to be true, because I wrote posts in those threads saying exactly that.

Also keep in mind if you go adjustable whiteline bushes, you should get a wheel alignment done post installation.

You CAN eyeball it and install both with "maximum" caster, but this would be assuming everything else is square and true. If its not, you will be running different caster L to R.

Replace with stock, they last much longer then nolathane/adjustable rods with rose joints. Aftermarket stuff seems to wear much quicker then stock parts, i replaced mine in a 32 with adjustable rods 4months ago and they are starting to squeek now. There are also stories of nolathe castor rod bushes lasting one track day. In the motorsport build section, the targa built cars are required to run stock arms and most run new stock rubber bushes
