Just had some new tyres fitted and noticed all of the rims are scratched from when the machine rolled the old ones off the rim. I'm 100% sure they weren't like that before, as I know every scratch on the car, due to regular hand washing.

The store had closed before I collected the car, so I have not yet raised it with them.

Has anyone else had the same experience and what was the dialogue and outcome?

email them asap, take photo's. leave no time between when you collect the car and when you report it, so they can't say you fcuked them yourself.

they have insurance, and with a bit of a push will put something like this to a claim.

post up a pic of the wheels where they're damaged

My brother has had this happen to his TE37's which you if possible need to bring it up before u take delivery of the car... take as many photos as you need to, The shop will meet you with hostility because they will assume you don't have any recourse.

Take down or record all conversations and with who and go directly to head office. They do indeed have insurance and will get you to get quotes for repairs and once they agree (and you have it in writing) they will ask you to get the repairs done and reimburse you
