Fs [Syd]: Nissan Skyline R33 Series 2 Gts-T With Loads Of Shit On It.. Has Gate, And Launch Control - More Awesome

Recommended Posts

Harro,

I guess I'm over it. I want $12k firm for it, if that's not reasonable there are other cars that may suit your criteria.

I will list mods & what the value of the item is second hand to give you an idea of why/how the price of my car is reasonable, however most items were bought brand new.

Hypergear SS2 externally gate (bought new & housing modified for $1250) - $800

Turbosmart 45mm Hypergate - $300

Alloy Intake to stock airbox - $100

Oil Lines/Fittings - $100

Custom v band dump - $100

Venom 5" cat - $150

HKS Super Dragger - $300

Plazmaman Piping - $250

HDi Intercooler - $100

Mocal 19 Row Oil Cooler / Trust plate $350

43mm ASI Radiator $100

Yellow Jacket Coilpacks - $250

Walbro 460L e85 pump (dual relays, etc.) - $100

Cusco Catch can - $50

APEXi Panel Filter - $50

NPC Clutch - $500

Bilstein Shocks & H&R Springs - $400

Whiteline Front & Rear roll bars - $250

Bushing/Pineapples, etc - $50

2 Way KAAZ Lsd - $800

BRIDE Brix seat & Rail - $500

Adatropnic Select ECU - $800

Blitz Dual SBC - $250

Innovate Gauges & water/oil temp - $200

Audio (vifa splits, kelvar rears, slim sub, deck, amp) - $400

R33 GT-R wheels & decent tyres - $800

Intima SR pads all round

Stripping the car back to stock, parts alone would be worth $8000+ in parts (I've been conservative on the 2nd part cost too). So basically I'm selling a roadworthy R33 S2 GTS-t with rego for $4000.

Not sure how much power it's making at the moment, however has been road tuned (by me) up to 1.15bar of boost all she needs now are a nice set of injectors, some E85 and HALLO 340kW+ at the rears.

I am firm at $12k

Comments: Car is never driven hard, lady owner.. never been on the race track, never been to a SAU texi, never Boosted, never red lined, never lost traction in it, never this and that - who am I kidding?

OH YEAH FORGOT TO SAY - It has a screamer, I love gate + haz launch control / anti lag - shoots flamezzzzzz and scares Hondas :nuke: :nuke: :nuke:

What you doing!

over it, at the end of the day it's slower than a stock EVO

don't know yet, I think house > car.. then when I get house, I'll find a wife and buy a jetski.. I'll think about the car later down the track..

either EVO or C63 AMG (when they're under 40k)

over it, at the end of the day it's slower than a stock EVO

really, I kept up with a stock EVO no worries.....learn to drive better....

I did 1m13 in the Evo with shitty tyres, was a breeze didn't even try to. Struggle to do 1m15 in mine

KMs? pics? I went on the site but couldnt find any close ups of engine, interior etc

estimate of power based on bum dyno? ~280kw??

I'll take some photos tonight, interior is super clean (if that helps?) lol

probably has around 200000+ current dash shows 140000, however I did the timing belt at 127 000 with this dash.. but car looks like she's done about 200000+ but nearly all the bushing has been changed, rear bearings replaced, new discs etc..

I would say about 220~230kW tops.. stock injectors haha

Didn't you only just fit the SS2 like a couple of weeks ago?

2 months ago, and partly tuned it a few weeks ago. A little CBF with cars at, if it doesn't sell I guess I have to keep it and rip more skids on the track

You know johnny ive been feeling a bit the same way lately about my series 2 33 gts-t. 12k is reasonable I think. My 33 is sitting in the garage with no hot side bolted on but is all there and no ecu just been freshly painted at work in original kr4 silver. Forged 25 top mount gtx3071r. On replica bbs lm's.i was thinking of 15k for mine on road going sweet. All me friends just say part it out get more $$$ back??? Its just shit everyone wants everything for nothing. Ill almost bet my nuts some GOOSE will offer you 5-6k for it because there's 30 other gts-t's on carsales clapped out with a 3" ZORST,coilovers, bov and a fancy gear knob for 6.5k.Nearly everyone doesn't consider the extra time passion and $$$'s that have gone into a nice 33 gts-t like yours.SORRY TO CLOG YOUR THREAD WITH MY UTTER BULLSHIT WHINGING.

GLWS

Cheers Josh

hahahah no dramas mate :)

you can see I'm really trying hard to sell it, especially with a photo of me baking tyres

Don't sell !

I'm doing a terrific job of trying to sell it.

maybe I should post more photos of me doing skids.. yeah I'll do that.

Haha good for sale thread. If I was in the market I'd prefer to see these kind of pictures. At least you are being honest. People who say they haven't done anything like this are full of it haha.

I say post pics of flames and videos of launch control! :P

    • GTSBoy on your suggestion on another thread I had a look at those injectors and ended up getting them because of the quality.  Got the expensive ones.
    • Hey guys been looking everywhere to try and find the correct gtr hood latch support part number but only found the first half and when I search with that number it sends me to an r34. The first part I found was 62515. If anyone could help me with the rest then I’d really appreciate it. Or if there’s some alternative hood latch support that would work even better cause I can’t find any for sale. (Searched on upgarage, partsouq, buyee, rhdjapan)
    • If you've only done the upper control arms on the rear, AND you have changed their length (by more than about 1mm) to set the camber you want, then you will definitely need/want to install traction arms also. Adjusting the camber arms on their own WILL introduce bump steer and make the car unpleasant to drive. Most owners have no idea that their car could behave infinitely better than what they put up with. I'm not entirely sure what the Stageas need, but I am thinking that unless you have massive front spring rates and pretty soft rear springs, you have waaaay too much rear bar. Oversteer city, in my estimation. Combined with possible excessive bump steer from maladjusted arms, that could be a recipe for nastiness. ATR43SS2 is not a highflow. It is an outright replacement turbo. It's a little bit bigger than the largest highflow profile that Tao does. Probably a solid 300rwkW turbo where the bigger highflows will be about 30-40rwkW less. Nevertheless, we're only talking about ~300 rwkW, which is well within the abilities of the stock ECu to run with a Nistune on board. I would do so without hesitation - and I will be doing so when I get my finger out and actually get the injectors and AFM installed. But, if you would prefer to drop a whole lot more money on the ECU side, then I suspect you're looking at Haltech. The Haltech fanbois here will all spout on about all the available engine protection you can have, that you can't have with the Nistune option. And they're right. But it doesn't really come for free either. You will spend more money on extra sensors and the like, plus the work to install them. If the engine was built and therefore represented a big investment to protect, then I'd say definitely do it. If you view the current (and forever into the future) shortage of replacement engines as something to prompt similar protection, then also, do it. If you see a destroyed RB25 as an opportunity to put in a Mercedes or other V12 (like I kinda do)... then your perception of the risk/reward might differ. These are good injectors. You can also get a "better" set of the same with more flow matching, for more $$. 1000cc is where you will want to be. You will need an R35 AFM and adapter tube if you want to stay with Nistuned stock ECU. Otherwise, if going Haltech, you can ignore. As for intercooler. Just about anything will do. You're only talking about ~300rwkW. Just put a big core in there. Be aware that return flows do add significant pressure drop and will cost power and will make the turbo work harder to achieve the same goals. If you can manage a proper crossflow, do it. I'm keeping my very good return flow because I'm only expecting to be in the ~250rwkW range, and will live with whatever outcome I get.
    • I have a heap that i have collected if you want some authentic ones still. Pm me if your interested!
