Hi

One mod I have wanted for a long time is to lower the seating position in my R34 GTR.

From what I have found so far the Bride Stradia/Gias seems to go as low as possible using off the shelf parts.

Does anyone in Brisbane or GC have an R34 GTR fitted with these seats that I could sit in before shelling out the cash?

Am also interested in what the rear access is like with them, as they do not seem to flip forward very far.

Preferably genuine items, but if the replicas as exactly as low then that will also do.

Thanks in advance

Stretch.

I did sit in Chris's car but that is a Zeta fixed back seat and I would really like too check out a recliner style, mainly to see how far forward it fold and how low it is.

If Bride's are not ADR/legal then are all the people that have them just taking a risk being defected?

if the cheapass saas, monza, autotechnica etc seats can be adr approved it would be hard to see why the decent bride seats couldn't be. Would need to be quick-tilt type for 2doors though, soemthing about ease of exit in emergency...that's about all i know on it though

Nope, no brides.

Removed a (genuine) bride from new zed for recaros. While getting recaros mod plated, I showed the one that came out. He saw it was a bride and said no way, big no-no on all bride seats. Can not be mod plated.

Is a 34 gtr not low enough?

I had a low one, then raised it because I couldnt see over the dash (172cm) and then I was boosting around being all lebo. what I experienced was,

Seat belt doesnt sit in the right spot and kind of rubs around the neck instead of collar bone

very annoying to clip unclip seat belt with the bolsters

side of seat is very very close to the door

it does not recline nearly as far as oem

seat also does not slide as far forward as oem

All in all, Id rather have a 34 GTR seat than a bride stradia/gias.

    • Hey guys, so Golebys has good prices on Bosch injectors, and also sell an adaptor to go from 1/2 length injector to standard with the Nissan 10.5mm top seal.  Does anyone know if that adaptor is to suit the 14mm or 11mm injector tops?  And re. The bottom seal, to suit my standard RB20 intake, would I be right in saying I can just slip the 14mm square section O ring over the bottom of the new injector and done? Thanks in advance guy, Cheers, Rowdy
    • F my life. I was changing the oil on my R32 GTR today as usual and ran into a bit of a snag. I drained the oil out and was getting ready to finish the job by tightening the drain plug, however The stupid magnetic oil drain plug snapped in half, right at the magnet part. After about an hour of trying to remove it, I used a drill bit, which unfortunately pushed the magnet all the way into the pan, and just leaving the hollow threaded part of the bolt remaining. I was able to remove the hollow portion of the bolt from the oil pan with some pliers but the magnet is still in there.  So, the question is, should I drop the oil pan to get the magnet piece out, or is it okay to leave it in there? I really dont want to drop the pan, i'm about to go nuts.  PSA: Do NOT buy a BLOX magnetic drain plug. This is the one i had.    https://bloxracing.com/products/magnetic-oil-drain-plug-m12x1-25mm?variant=37131252859052&country=US&currency=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw47i_BhBTEiwAaJfPpgti1D2JwO7TDuMpXuqeQPCuIQSAfwxpWQH5rF9MD7sm5SCZDWLR_RoC_YoQAvD_BwE
