Charles89
So is there lights on your dash? Does your horn work? Does the car crank? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/441905-my-skyline-r32/#findComment-7258500 Share on other sites
emts
And I get to use my favorite response for one seriously hit it with a hammer. give the starter motor a few light taps with a hammer see if she starts. if so replace that sucker ASAP. (the starter motor not the hammer) 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/441905-my-skyline-r32/#findComment-7258519 Share on other sites
KURAUN
could be the starter solenoid, is there a click when you turn the key? If there is a click (near the starter) then the solenoid should be fine and more likely the actual starter Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/441905-my-skyline-r32/#findComment-7258753 Share on other sites
inark
Starter will not stop dash lights coming on nor any other electrical items from working. The solenoid seizing will simply stop your car from cranking over. So, if you still have power, radio works, lights work etc but the car will not turn over then yes most likely the solenoid. Bitch to replace in a driveway (I know I had to replace mine and that top bolt is a ****) but not hard. If your radio and lights don't work and it still wont crank over then there is something else wrong with it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/441905-my-skyline-r32/#findComment-7259356 Share on other sites
