Help Needed, R32 Wont Start

Gday everyone,

new to skylines and RB25s, ive just pulled my R32 GTS-T out of the shed to start working on her finally. It has an RB25 and is manual.

Car wont start. Started no worries before i last touched it, about 4 months ago (has been on trickle charge the whole time. Have put 5 litres of fresh 98 in. Turn the key, has the starting sound however motor wont turn over. Has about 13 volts in the battery.

Havent tryed a push start yet as im by myself.

Where do i start?

Any help would be great.

If it's anything like mine was, I'd see if you're getting fuel.

take the intercooler piping off before the throttle body and spray some carby cleaner in there and try cracking it over.

You mean it turns over (starter motor works) but won't start?

The injectors may have gummed up and aren't opening. Get them cleaned.

Check for fuel (fuel pump, fuel filter), spark and compression. Might need a few more than 5 litres of fuel in the tank too!

Thanks for the help guys. Im pulling it apart now to check all that. I think ill get the injectors cleaned while i have them out.

The plugs were black as all buggery too so that cant be helping!

Prime the fuel pump a couple of times after you get the clean injectors and new spark plugs in.
