Hello,

I'm doing a R33 RB26 swap into a S14 chassis. I've done the RB25 swap before, but first time with RB26. I've done a lot of searching but keep finding conflicting answers.

I know I need to use the RB25 rwd transmission and a RB25 clutch kit, and I plan on using the R33 rb25 trans with the push style clutch. But can I use my current RB26 flywheel and starter? The current clutch setup on my r33 engine is for a pull-style clutch, but I don't know what's different about the flywheel and starter between the pull-style and the push-style.

The part number on my starter is 23300 20P05 if that helps.

Thanks,

Sean

starter appears to be the same

It doesn't list r32 rb26dett which is what leads me to believe that the starter is different from the push style r32 rb26 clutch and the pull style r33 rb26 clutch. I think the later rb25 and the neo we're pull style which is why they're on that list. Thanks for posting as it leads me to believe they're different I just don't know why.

Ring clutch place. Instant answer.

That's not so easy to do here in the US. I know the clutch set is different from push to pull clutch style. I want to know what is different about the flywheel and starter. Maybe the flywheel has a different amount of teeth? I'm guessing the starter and flywheel have to match? Can I use the rb25 push style clutch and trans with the r33 rb26dett pull style flywheel and starter?
