Tyre Sidewall Crack.

So i got these front tyres put on the other day from a 2nd hand place 80% tread and have noticed that the front left has a crack in it, I took it back to the shop today and they said it was fine as it hasn't bubbled up yet – but I'm still a bit skeptical..

Not sure if srs. That tyre isn't legal.

But! They're just going to say, you hit something after you left their workshop.

Yep. Same thing happened to the inlaws. But, within 2 weeks of Brand New tyres, not second hands.

It can be caused by Anything. Pot hole, gutter, driveway, intentional damage, you name it.

Even if they put them on tonight, do they look safe to you? They sure don't to me. That's the thing with 2nd hand tyres, you really need to be careful. Personally I wouldn't drive much longer with those on. If that damages was done in a week, whats going to happen to them after a month?

By all means try your luck. You might get a good bloke who will replace them free of charge, or at a discount.
