Not only are they printing turbine housings in stainless steel, but they even print the parts inside them so they don't have to be fitted. Is this slightly f**king insane to anyone else?

its cool as shit....you see in china they re 3d printing houses...well more like cabins really but its pretty cool technology...give it 50 years they will be 3d printing cars, or maybe even people...we could print armies of them with 3d printed weapons and fight each other in 3d printed arenas and watch on 3d printed television...the possibilities are endless...

until somebody uses a 3d printed bomb to blow up the 3d printed printing factories, then we will all be 2 dimensional again..probably even black and white...and the world we be flat again, or as it always was according to Islam...then we will all bow before Islam and be 2 dimensional Black and white monocle wearing Islamics

Pretty cool, but the variable turbine flow path stuff earlier in the video is pretty basic compare the porsche tech.

It would certainly deal with predicted food shortages. They could use proteins, fillers and nutrients to 'make' food.
