Hello All,

Id like to start by saying AWSOME SITE!! I love the internet (havn't had it long, can you tell lol)

Any way, I have just purchased an R33 GTS-T Skylie (picked it up today) and would love some feedback from anyone in "the know" about things i have to look out for (any possible issues) and general maintanence.

It is also my first Turbo car, and i dont want to break anything.

lets see, it's a 94' model with just over 65,000 km on the dials. Imaculate condition 18" rims (diferent front and rear) Cusco coilovers, apexi-rev speed meter, Nismo exhaust, tinted windows, front bar and side skirts and rear bar add-on. Purchased from japan it arrived in austraila about 2.5wks ago since then i have been waiting on compliance. It came o a bargain price of $18,300.00

I have noticed that the rear speakers are blown to hell, while i was there inspecting the wiring (for new speakers) i saw a ruber hose just to the left of the battery leading to outside the car (i assume) that is not attached to anything, it kinks 90 degrees at the top. Can any one tell me what this is for? and some slight rust on the boot. cant fault anything else yet.

any feedback would be much appreciated

thanx

:D

firstly - get off the net , and enjoy your new car... trust me its more fun than the internet :D

secondly. the one thing i can answer ... the tube from the battery is the overflow. if for some reason the liquid in the battery overflows u dont want it all over ur boot but rather outside. ok ... thats not a technical explanation.. but it will do.

enjoy ur new ride!

Welcome Luke...

CroatianDlite is correct, that is your battery overflow...

Blown stock rear speakers is a common fault...
