Hey guys

I'm looking at getting my wife some new lights for her v35.

I have seen some sellers on eBay saying that you need to advise them if car is left or right hand drive.

But there are some in the states that don't ask that question.

Thing is I don't wanna spend all that money and they not fit.

Any help would be great

Cheers guys

If you buy lights from the USA, they WILL be directed with cutoffs to the left (instead of the right), they WILL blind oncoming traffic, and will most likely be defected by the first cop driving the opposite direction that is blinded by your lights.

The ONLY lights that fit our cars are made in Japan. Contact Jesse Streeter (www.jessestreeter.com) and ask him about getting you the same lights we got in the group buy. From memory the last person that bought them through him off here in a one-off through him paid $800.

I know its a bit of an old tread, but, if you are still interested... I bought some of the black housings off of ebay (US G35 versions). Only thing, I had to make sure they were for 03-04 as the 05-06 had slightly different shape due to hood and front bumper redesign. I got them for the new lenses (mine were yellow and hazy beyond repair) and the black bezels. The new headlights were halogen, so I simply swapped out my HID lights, ballasts, reflectors and wiring to the new housings. It cost me $139 plus time doing the guts swap. I DID pass Japanese inspection and have never been flashed by oncoming traffic.

If you are swapping the reflectors, you should be fine.. The problem arrises when people use the entire headlights assy from USA, with the LHD reflectors/Projectors.
