R33 Skyline Gtst Running Issues

Hey guys, I own a 93 r33 skyline gts-t series 1 and lately I've had issues with the car shutting down while running at random stages. It's as if the ignition is being switched off at random points when I'm driving or the car is just running. I've found that giving it a pit more throttle can sometimes counter act the problem. I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced or heard of this happening? I have had issues with my immobilizer acting up and not letting me start the car before and I thought it might be something to do with that but I've had it removed since then and it has fixed my starting problems but the shutting down problem is still there. Any help would be highly appreciated, even if it could just point me in the right direction.
