My Gearbox is Weird

Just thought i'd share this with you, but about a month ago i ran at heathcote. I got a few crappy runs in and then i started doing second gear burnouts. Then i started missing 3rd gear. I thought WTF, i never miss 3rd. But 4 runs in a row, i miss 3rd gear. I thought maybe my gearbox is starting to play up. Then back to calder, a couple of burnouts in first gear and no 3rd gear misses. So i try a 2nd gear burnout and bang, i miss 3rd gear again. Then back to do doing first gear burnouts and no problems at all.

I just thought it was weird!!

i think a few strong vibrations (e.g. fun old axel tramping burnouts) tend to vibrate through the box and shake things out of alignment a little and make things behave a little funny sometimes.

I've noticed it before. Returns perfectly to normal after a bit.. RB25det gearboxes are weird beasts.
