R33 Radiator Viscous Hub Seized Up

Hey guys,

My radiator is constantly goin nuts now, car sounds like a plane.

Can I get a new hub from a place like Repco? Also how hard is to change?

GMB one is about $80

Davies Craig more exxy

OEM, might as well buy thermos lol

However, used ones can be just as good.

What are the GMB ones like? I hate the Davies craig one, I may as well just have the fan bolted to the water pump. It's always pretty much locked flat out

I had my OEM one on for ages with no issues and it was fine. When I put the new engine in it seemed to get warmer so I thought i better change it, but I think my issue actually was a little bit of crap caught under the radiator cap seal which was letting a little pressure out. Might just chuck the old OEM one back in lol

I think I'll just chuck my old one back on lol. Not even sure a new OEM one would be even better. Maybe they are supposed to sound like that lol?

Surely not, my car is alot louder then stock and if I can hear it over all the noises my car makes, surely they wouldnt chuck it on a car in the factory like that haha

I remember GTSBoy had the same issue.. he ended up getting a factory one

I don't care about the noise though, keeps the car happy at the track (especially when I have a cheap shit eBay dim sim alloy radiator)
