Rb25 Neo Valve Shims

question,

im in the states, and I cant seem to source out shims for my rb25 neo. I had to change the cylinder head, and I had to used my lifters and cams from my original head in the replacement head and now it is noisy.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

(and yes I searched and could only find topics on the issue, not where to actually get the shims)

Work out what clearance you need to fill (the NEO's are solid lifters, not hydraulic), & maybe order from Nissan OR ask your local engine rebuilder. They might have spare shims around they could sell you, or make some out of shim stock. A local metal trades center might be able to help you out also. Just make sure your only using 1 shim under each of those buckets!
