Hey fellow members . I own a series 2 r 33 which was stolen on Friday night Saturday morning from Salisbury East . Found my car in the adjacent street. But all the airings have been tampered and apexi boost stolen along with sub and amp . They tried to rip off the DVD from dash but it's been bolted from beneath with special clamps so DVD is damaged . Now car has blood stains inside and has been taken to the wirk shop I think jAstech . Will this be write off or they will fix it . Iam with just cars insurance

It all depends on how much it will cost the insurance company to fix or to payout. Which ever is cheaper. So if fixing everything is easier and cheaper than they will get it all fixed but if paying out on the car and making is a repairable writeoff is cheaper than the insurance companies seem to go that way.

Never good to hear someone's pride and joy being stolen and than molested.

Thanks for the reply mate. Idiots didn't even know what they were doing . Neighbour told us she heard a noise at about 0130 am and when she checked out there was a red or black Holden statesman a nd 3 " big lads" got out and car drive off . After some time she saw that my car started rolling down the street with doors open and those lads in the car fiddling with the steering.

It had blood stains and I was so shocked and angry . I don't want to tell how upset I am at the moment thanks once again got your reply mate

put some pics if you have any. Did you have an alarm or immobilizer installed? What are the chances of the statesman being stolen as well. Blood stains could be from cuts obtained etc. Have you notified the men in blue?

Yes all done mare bloody CSI were on taking photos for about 20 mins and cops visited my neighbour and be several times

Since all electrics were cut off I think the alarm didn't go off but I had alarm and immobiliser installed
